20,000 euros for children in need: roeren continues its Christmas campaign tradition

Published on

As in previous years, roeren is supporting the German organization Kindernothilfe e. V. and its worldwide aid projects with its Christmas campaign. This year’s donation amounts to 20,000 euros – a contribution that will be used specifically where it is most urgently needed. Three selected projects give children in particularly challenging life situations access to education, protection and medical care.

Thinking outside the box – this has always been part of roeren’s identity. Especially at the end of the year, it is therefore not just about looking back, but also about passing something on and giving young people better prospects for the future. The annual Christmas campaign in the form of a donation to Kindernothilfe has become a firm tradition.

roeren is continuing this commitment in 2024 and is supporting Kindernothilfe with 20,000 euros. The organization is committed to helping children around the world who are growing up in difficult conditions – often without secure prospects.

“Under the slogan ‘helping people to help themselves’, the aim is not just to pour a drop on the hot stone, but to provide a boost that will enable long-term stability.” – roeren Managing Director, Sven Roeren

But it’s not just about financial support. Social responsibility also means creating awareness and setting an example. Challenging times in particular show how important it is to act responsibly – not only in your own environment, but also beyond.

Targeted support for education, protection and future prospects

With this year’s donation, roeren is once again sending such a signal – not only for acute help, but also for long-term change. The 20,000 euros will therefore go towards three specifically selected projects that open up new prospects for children.

Education for children and young people in Malawi

In one of the poorest regions of the world, this project supports early childhood education, healthcare and equal opportunities for orphans and vulnerable children. For roeren, education is the key to sustainable growth – whether in global development work or in our own day-to-day work with talented and skilled workers.

Ways out of child labor in Guatemala

Flexible educational opportunities give children and young people the chance to escape the cycle of child labor. Education creates new opportunities – an approach that roeren lives by every day as a consulting company for production and management: passing on knowledge, strengthening skills, enabling the future.

Protection from sexualized violence in Kenya

This project strengthens local structures to protect children’s rights and sustainably reduce cases of violence. Safety and reliability – values that are also of central importance to roeren. Because a strong society begins with a secure foundation.
