Developing talent: roeren enters its 5th year as a LöwenPartner

Published on

roeren has been a LöwenPartner since 2021 and the partnership has now been extended for another 4 years.

“As a company, we feel at home in Landshut and Munich. We share common values with Sechzig: an honest, down-to-earth attitude and the unconditional will to continuously develop through commitment,” says Managing Director Sven Roeren. “You can only be truly successful if you’ve eaten grass,” is his maxim.

Eva Schiller, member of the roeren management team, has nothing but good things to say about the partnership with the lions. “It is characterized by mutual appreciation, respect and solidarity with Munich and the region. We want to show what defines us as a company and represent our values of curiosity, respect and foresight through our commitment,” she says, explaining the company’s goals.

For 1860 Managing Director Dr. Christian Werner, roeren is a stroke of luck as a partner because the company is also committed to developing young talent. “The development of young talent is one of our partner’s convictions. Just as we repeatedly recruit players from our NLZ, the Bayerische Junglöwen, for our third division team, it is part of roeren’s strategy for success that many of the company’s managers have been able to mature and qualify by working as student trainees.”

Dr. Werner also emphasizes the personal commitment of Sven Roeren, who has accompanied the annual retreat of the NLZ’s coaches and employees for two years, as well as the sponsorship in the youth sector, such as the financial support of the LÖWENCup for U11 teams. “roeren always pursues a long-term plan that is geared towards development. That’s part of their strategy for success!”
