This year, roeren is once again supporting the German organization Kindernothilfe e. V. and its worldwide aid projects with its Christmas campaign. This year’s donation amounts to 15,000 euros, which will be distributed among three selected projects.
Looking beyond our own horizons has always been part of roeren’s corporate identity. Particularly at the end of the year, the focus is therefore not only on looking back, but also on the desire to pass something on and open up new perspectives for young people. The annual Christmas campaign for Kindernothilfe has become a firm tradition.
roeren is continuing this social commitment in 2025 and is supporting Kindernothilfe with a donation of 15,000 euros. The organization is committed to helping children around the world who grow up in difficult living conditions and often have limited opportunities for the future.
With this year’s donation, roeren is once again sending such a signal – not only for acute help, but also for long-term change. The 15,000 euros will therefore go towards three specifically selected projects that open up new prospects for children.
The project combats female genital mutilation (FGM) through education, psychosocial support, legal awareness-raising, health work, empowerment of girls and mothers and community-based prevention mechanisms. It works closely with authorities, health services and village communities.
This project uses radio and modern communication formats to give children in remote regions access to basic education. Lessons, school support and participatory learning formats are provided via radio schools. The system has a long tradition in hard-to-reach regions and is aimed at children who would otherwise not receive any education.
In Germany, several children die from violence every day; there are over 40 reported cases of sexualized violence every day. The project strengthens daycare centers, schools, sports clubs and youth welfare organizations through protection concepts, training, workshops and participation formats. It trains professionals, supports risk analysis and prevents violence through systematic prevention.
