The use of our website is usually possible without disclosure of individual-related data. Our website only collects individual-related data on a voluntary basis if possible. The data will not be transferred to third parties without your explicit consent. Individual-related data are all data that according to Art. 4. Para. 1 EU General Data Protection Regulation („GDPR“) can be assigned to a specific person i.e. name, address, e-mail address, user behaviour. In the following we would like to inform you about the way, the extent and the reason of collecting and using individual-related data when using our website.

Information on collecting individual-related data

When contacting us via email or a contact form we will store the data you provided to answer your questions (generally your name and e-mail address).
We delete all other data in this context after storing is no longer required or limit processing of said data if there is a legal retention obligation. 

If we rely on contracted providers for certain functions or want to use you data for commercial reasons, we will inform you about the details and tell you the defined criteria for the length of storing. 

Your rights

You have the following rights in terms of individual-related data:

  • Right of access
    According to Art. 15 GDPR you have the right of access to your individual-related data. You can demand the purpose of processing, the categories of individual-related data, the categories of recipients that your data has been referred to or will be referred to, the expected storage period, the right to rectify the data, deletion, limits to processing or opposition, the right to lodge a complaint and the origin of your data when the data has not been collected by roeren GmbH.
  • Right to rectification
    According to Art. 16 GDPR you have the right to immediately demand rectification of incorrect individual-related data or completion of incomplete individual-related data in storage.  
  • Right of erasure
    According to Art. 17 GDPR you have the right to demand erasure of your individual-related data as long as processing is not in direct contradiction with the right of free speech and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert a claim.
  • Right to restriction of processing
    According to Art. 18 GDPR you have the right to demand the restriction of processing of your stored individual-related data when you doubt the accuracy of the data, the processing is unlawful but you reject deletion and your data is not required anymore whereas you still need them to assert a claim or you object according to Art. 21 GDPR.

    According to Art. 20 GDPR you have the right to obtain your individual-related data that you provided in a structered, common and machine-readable format.

Furthermore you have the right to complain to a Data Protection Supervisory Authority about the processing of your individual-related data. 

Collection of individual-related data when using our website

When visiting our website for informational use only that is without registration or transferring other information, we only collect individual-related data that your browser transmits to our server. If you want to look at our website, we collect the following data that are technically necessary for us to show you our website:

Persistent cookies will be deleted after a defined period that is different depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies anytime in the security setting of your browser.

Integration of third parties and content of third parties

It may happen that this website integrates content of third parties, i.e. YouToube Videos, material of google-maps, RSS-feeds or graphics of other websites. This requires that the provider of this content (hereinafter called „third-party provider“) notices the IP-address of the user. 

Without IP-addresses they could not send content to the browser of the specific user. The IP-address is necessary for providing content. We strive to use only content of providers that solely use the IP-address to deliver contents. Unfortunately we have no influence on third-party providers that i. e. store IP-addresses for statistical purposes. As far as we know, we inform our users. 

Changes in Data Protection Regulations

We adjust our data protection declaration in irregular intervals so that it is always up to date with legal requirements or to implement changes of our service. For your next visit, the new data protection declaration automatically applies.
