As part of a comprehensive consulting and interim management mandate, the complete development of a new production site in the Republic of Moldova was successfully supported and implemented. The project encompassed all phases from strategic conception to operational implementation:
- Business case & strategy development: Creation and validation of a reliable business case as a basis for decision-making for the investment and development of the site.
- Site selection: Implementation of a structured location analysis including evaluation of infrastructural, economic and labor market-relevant criteria for the selection of the optimal production location.
- Technical setup: Planning and control of the technical infrastructure including layout planning, procurement and installation of the production facilities as well as setting up the supply and logistics systems.
- Organizational development: development of the local organizational structure, recruitment and qualification of key personnel and implementation of efficient management and production processes.
- Interim management: Temporary assumption of management responsibility to ensure a smooth start-up of production, introduction of standards and assurance of target achievement in the set-up process.
Thanks to the close integration of strategic consulting, operational implementation and interim management, it was possible to establish an efficient production site that is sustainably integrated into the company’s global value chain.
