roeren is now part of the E-Works Mobility success story, not only as a strategic partner but also as the second-largest investor in the company. We are contributing our know-how to the ramp-up of series production and helping to make a major contribution to the energy transition and to shaping the individual mobility of tomorrow. The circular economy is not just a thought here, but an integral part of the business model. With the HEERO, a vehicle has reached market maturity that sets new standards in commercial vehicle electromobility. Together, we are now implementing the delivery capability in response to the immense customer demand for the HEERO. We look forward to joint success in the exciting commercial vehicle market.

E-Works Mobility is positioning itself as a leading player in Europe in the field of electrification of existing commercial vehicles. With a strong focus on the circular economy, the company is dedicated to transforming conventional commercial vehicles into sustainable electric vehicles. With a combination of specially developed hardware and software, E-Works Mobility is pushing its in-house electric vehicle model HEERO to the forefront of electromobility in the Sprinter segment.

The new partnership between E-Works Mobility and roeren is more than just a classic investment. As an experienced partner, roeren will not only provide financial resources, but also demonstrate deep knowledge and operational experience in manufacturing. This is perfectly aligned with E-Works Mobility’s expansion, and the partnership is taking a close look at demanding unit growth in production and supply chains.

In the midst of a market characterized by long delivery times, high prices and low volumes, E-Works Mobility is setting new standards thanks to this partnership. Together with roeren, the company is able to ensure a demanding ramp-up in production and to close 2024 with a significantly increased output. This will enable E-Works Mobility to meet high customer demand, as the market demands reliable and sustainable solutions in the commercial vehicle segment.

Against the background that the transport sector makes a significant contribution to global CO2 emissions, E-Works Mobility has made it its mission to create sustainable solutions for commercial vehicle mobility. The business model is based on the principle of the Circular Economy, in which young, used Mercedes-Benz Sprinters with combustion units are bought up and converted into as-new high-performance electric vehicles, thus significantly extending the useful life of the vans. These vehicles are sold under the performance-oriented HEERO own brand. The e-transporters achieve a range of up to 400 km in real-world operation, stand out from the competition with significantly better TCOs, and thus offer an attractive alternative for small and large fleets looking to make the transformation to electromobility.
